Whitty Cottage
We are letting everyone know about a recent cottage break-in. Park staff noticed last Friday, January 14, that the old Whitty cottage on Water Street had been broken into and heavily vandalized. There was graffiti spray painted on the walls inside the cottage and trash everywhere. The leaseholder has been contacted about filing a report with OPP. Maintenance staff hammered a board into place over the broken window to hopefully deter any future vandalism.
