As a blizzard harshly blows its icy breath through Stratford, Ontario tonight, I am happy to post this info about tree seedlings from our friend and RCA Director Candace Barlow. Thanks Candace!
“The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority (LTVCA) is once again offering low cost Carolinian tree sales. Below is a list and order form of the species they sell. Please note that trees are sold in bundles of ten. If you are interested in buying less than 10 trees at a time, I am offering to combine your order with mine to total the 10 required order. See this link for the order form and the image posted below for more details.
They must be ordered by March 1st.
The LTVCA will notify me mid April to arrange pick up. I can pick the trees up, notify you and drop them off to your cottage. The LTVCA site offers recommendations and instructions for planting trees.
Please email me at [email protected] to place your order.”
